This Friday is our 4-H district livestock judging contest! We have won district the past two years and have full intentions of winning the contest this year as well, and advancing to the state contest! This is my senior year and of course my last time to judge at district which is a little bitter sweet because my passion is livestock judging, but I plan to end my high school judging career with a bang! I am super excited to see what the future holds for my team! Our goal is to win the state contest and judge at the NAILE in Louisville, Kentucky. We have big dreams as a team and will stop at nothing to make those dreams come true!

Free Falling
I haven't been keeping up with my blog very well lately because I have missed so much school. For the most part I have been hot on the highway judging, but I had a little accident two weeks ago. As embarrassing as it is... I was running in the dark and tripped. I must say I really out did myself on my fall. I got a huge rock stuck in my leg and the cut was some kind of nasty. Needless to say I ended up in the ER getting all stitched up. However, my leg ended up getting infected and long story short I spent a couple days in the hospital because of it. To make things worse.. last Thursday I went to my doctor for an assessment on my wound, and we were all overjoyed with how good my leg looked and the doctor took the stitches out, well on my way home I felt something weird on my leg... I removed the band-aid to find my wound had RE-OPENED! So, I went back to the ER and got stitched up for the fourth time! I hope this time it heals up right and I wont't have to see another doctor or suture kit for a looong while!
